review

Touching the Clouds by Bonnie Leon is an exciting, action packed adventure tale of Kate Evans, a bush pilot in the wilds of Alaskan during the depression era. I totally was captivated by this book.

The author did an excellent job of developing each character and their strengths and weaknesses. It was easy to follow them and get involved in their story. You could feel the emotion from each character.

The storyline was well developed and easy to follow. I love the way the Bonnie Leon’s writing style made you feel you were there, like smelling the bacon sizzling. She painted a picture of both a beautiful Alaska and a harsh unforgiving Alaska.

Another nice part of the book was her ability to weave a Christian message into the story without sounding to religious. It was a great book to read.

I really enjoyed Touching the Clouds by Bonnie Leon and look forward to reading other books in the series.

I highly recommend this book to all readers.
